March happenings........

Welcome March......so ready for spring as many of us are......I’ve been busy creating spring for your decorating pleasures........

My first item is a embroidery design by Lori of Notforgotten Farm.....I stitched this on a piece of muslin I aged a bit....attached it to a clock that I’ve rusted and aged to give it an old antique primitive look.....the Pom  pom trim is a piece from Dames of the needle.....measures approximately 7” x 4”

This is a design by Stacy Nash called “Queen of Spring”
I’ve stitched on linen, backed with a light pinky primitive aged velvet, this pillow tuck is filled with clean saw dust from our workshop, I’ve trimmed with a aged greenish Pom Pom trim from Dames of The Needle.....added a rusty pin with buttons......measures approximately 6”x4”

This is a design by Brenda Gervais of With Thy Needle......I stitched this on a piece of linen and cut into a egg shape, I filled with poly fiber, backing is a piece of aged primitive spring fabric, trimmed in a Pom Pom trim I coffee tea stained.....I added a rusty pin and buttons......a cute pillow tuck egg for a wooden bowl, basket etc....this piece measures approximately 6” x 4”

Last but not least is a wooden Shaker box I have painted aged and then added hand painted tulips and vines..... on the lid is a stitched piece I did on linen, design is by Brenda Gervais of With Thy Needle 
Called “ Spring Folic” .....I trimmed the piece with a aged coffee/tea stained greenish eyelash trim.... inside the box is primitive greater grass with wooden primitive painted eggs by me.....this piece measures approximately 8”x 7” and 3” tall...
